Webinars

We run webinars throughout the year on a variety of topics. Covering Travel Risk and Travel Optimisation Management.

Webinars

TRM is so much more than a series of policies and suppliers; in fact and in our opinion, the only way to really understand good TRM practice is to get involved and do it! That is why we create and host a variety of events, workshops and webinars designed to facilitate “learning and doing” across a broad subject matter. Our key focus is always practical advice, tips and takeaways for both the traveller and the organisation.

Our events are designed for you to come by yourself or with a few colleagues. We guarantee that you will meet people from different disciplines or specialities at our events and we actively encourage representation across a wide range of stakeholder roles, from senior management, department heads, to the travellers themselves as event attendees
Our promise to our planet:

We promise to only run events with purpose and outcomes that aren’t readily achievable through online formats or experiences. We will use technology to be as inclusive as possible and where we run an in-person event, they will be sustainable, accurately measured and offset accordingly. (See our Sustainable Events Statement here)

Our promise to our members:

It is our intention to ensure that all of our events are accessible to all. This means considering the individual needs of our delegates, guests and speakers across their physical, neuro and personal requirements. We ask delegates to notify us at registration of anything that may improve their experiences, so that we can plan in advance and be as inclusive as our members need us to be. (See our Events Accessibility & Inclusivity Statement here)

TRA Mentors

Our Next Webinar

Meet the Accommodation Mentors – 27th March 2025

This year, the Travel Risk Academy will be looking at a set theme for each Quarter of 2025. Join us on March 27th, when two of our Mentors come together to discuss our first Quarterly Theme, Accommodation.

We will give an update on the TRA’s Accommodation Conformity Community Group, and let people know how to get involved, and give an outline of the plans for the coming year.  We’ll give a reminder of what the Group is up to, with an update, an outline of the plans for the coming year as well as information on how YOU can get involved.

As always with the TRA Webinars, we allow lots of time for Q&A – and we encourage you to get your questions in early so we can answer them on the day! Make good use of that option when you book your space.

With TRA mentors – Carol Fergus and Nick Hymans

Thu, 27th Mar 2025 12:00 – 13:00 (UTC+00:00) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London

Bex will lead the conversation, and will cover the standard we have created, and how to use that to get engagement across the whole of your organisation.

  • Why have you adopted this mindset?
  • What is important to your stakeholders?
  • Who do you involve from within your organisation when creating your hotel program.
  • The whys and wherefores of the decision-making process.
  • How to implement across the organisation – and ensure that it’s known and understood.

Bex Deadman takes the lead with clients/contacts who are adopting this mindset.
