And the findings are clear:

Hotels are not inherently “safe by default”
Risks range from theft and intrusion to serious incidents like assault and exploitation
There are still no globally enforceable standards for hotel security
Organisations are often relying on assumptions, not evidence

As the report highlights, even small gaps like poor key control, weak staff training, or inconsistent processes can combine into serious duty of care failures.

Travel Risk Webinars

We run webinars throughout the year on a variety of topics across Travel Risk and Travel Optimisation Management. Your membership includes unlimited access to our webinars and complimentary admission; for non-members there is a small fee to pay; but you are very welcome to join the sessions and pay as you go.

Industry Workshops

Working with some of our TRA Mentors, we provide you with a choice of workshops to sharpen your TRM skills, for both yourself and your organisation. Whilst these workshops can be tailor-made to support a particular organisation, our open-ticket events are aimed at individuals or small groups from a company who want a more immersive learning experience on TRM topics, understand how to Optimise their travel programmes and to keep safe when travelling on business. As an attendee, you will engage with peers from different companies and industry sectors that encourages a diverse range of opinions and knowledge-sharing to occcur.
